Is [ Blank ] your First Choice or Last Resort?

OK, there I am praying for an opportunity to speak to my son and God was lining them up. But while we have a God who desires to give us a full life of joy, we have an enemy who desires to steal that joy. I had chosen God first, I had chosen Prayer first, now I must choose to be positive first. My mindset was a priority, because my son (and family) were a priority.  What I did not know then was God was praying for me too. He was lining up men in my life to journey this trial with. Three Mentors, I Have Never Met

Early on in my life, I identified a mentor as someone who would help me be the best at work so I could be better connected and advance within our organization. This definition of mentor falls short in comparison to the immense value a mentor (trusted advisor) can and will have on your life. While your career is a significant value a mentor can serve you in, you want to find someone who will also speak to you as a husband, dad, brother, son, and friend. Someone who can guide you to Truth and hold you CAPABLE of Pursuing Your Potential. For my cousin, he has this. For me, I do as well. What about you? Sunday Coach CONNECT - January 28, 2018

For the last 13 years, this teacher chose to Love, Listen, and Lead his student. The time had come for the student to announce he would be leaving the martial arts academy. His desire to train and be an artist brought him to the academy, however, what I witnessed between him and his teacher as they reminisced about the last 13 years was a bright display as to why he stayed.
